The Alpinia Labs Restorative Methylene Blue Face Cream 
is a premium daily face cream formulated with USP-grade 
methylene blue, rare Arctic cloudberry seed oil, 
olive-derived squalane, edelweiss extract,
Nordic barley extract, niacinamide, rosehip oil, shea 
butter, gluconolactone, helichrysum, and glycerin.

THE USP-GRADE STANDARD
Most methylene blue skincare products use cosmetic 
or laboratory-grade active ingredients — which allow 
for a wider range of impurities than pharmaceutical 
specification. This face cream uses USP-grade 
methylene blue — the same United States Pharmacopeia 
purity specification as the Alpinia blu capsule range. 
Not cosmetic grade. Not laboratory grade.

Every product in the Alpinia blu range — capsules,

THE NORDIC BOTANICAL COMPLEX
The botanical base of this formula is built around 
ingredients sourced from Arctic and sub-Arctic growing 
environments — where extreme seasonal conditions 
produce plant oils and extracts with exceptionally 
concentrated fatty acid and phytonutrient profiles 
compared to their temperate-climate equivalents.

Cloudberry Seed Oil — Rubus Chamaemorus Seed Oil: 
Cold-pressed from cloudberries growing wild in Arctic 
Nordic conditions. One of the highest omega-3 to 
omega-6 ratios of any plant-source oil in cosmetic 
formulation. Naturally high in vitamin E. One of the 
rarest botanical oils used in premium skincare 
globally — not found in standard formulations.

Nordic Barley — Hordeum Vulgare Extract: 
Beta-glucan-rich Nordic barley extract. Beta-glucans 
are large polysaccharide molecules well-studied for 
their moisture-film forming properties on the 
skin surface.

Edelweiss Extract — Leontopodium Nivale Extract: 
From the iconic Alpine flower known for surviving 
extreme UV exposure at altitude. High in leontopodic 
acid — a naturally occurring bisabolane sesquiterpene 
associated with the plant's resilience at altitude.

Rosehip Oil — Rosa Canina Fruit Oil: 
Cold-pressed rosehip seed oil. High in linoleic acid 
and trans-retinoic acid. A well-studied skincare 
botanical with an extensive body of peer-reviewed 
research on its fatty acid composition and skin 
compatibility.

THE KEY ACTIVES
Squalane — Squalane (Olea Europaea): 
Olive-derived squalane. Lightweight and 
non-comedogenic with a molecular structure closely 
compatible with the skin's natural sebum. Absorbs 
readily without leaving a heavy or greasy residue. 
Suitable for all skin types including oily and 
sensitive.

Gluconolactone — Gluconolactone: 
A polyhydroxy acid (PHA). A gentler alternative to 
AHAs with a larger molecular size that makes it less 
likely to penetrate deeply and cause sensitivity. 
Functions as a mild exfoliant and humectant.

Helichrysum — Helichrysum Italicum Extract: 
Helichrysum italicum — also known as immortelle. 
A botanical extract with flavonoid content and a 
history of use in premium European skincare 
formulations for its skin-conditioning properties.

HOW TO USE
Apply to freshly cleansed skin morning and evening.
Dispense a pearl-sized amount — approximately half 
a centimetre in diameter. Warm between fingertips 
and press gently into skin using upward and outward 
motions. Press rather than rub. Allow to absorb 
fully — approximately 60 seconds — before applying any other product.

EVENING: Apply as the final step in your evening 
skincare routine after any water-based serums.
